6mm Dasher vs 6mm BRA for long-range single-load Varmint Silhouette shooting. What is the best? 26" Kreger 8" twist Straight bbl contour

Now, with quality brass made for each, I don't think it matters out of a 26" barrel. I had a BRA until a good friend talked me out of it, I now shoot a Dasher out of a 29" barrel, it holds more powder.

I use the 6 Dasher with a 28" heavy varmint for LR Varmint Silhouette at Palamino and it works great. There is brass available so you don't have to fire form if you don't want and Lapua dasher is coming. I don't see an advantage of any sorts with the 6 Bra over the dasher especially in Varmint silhouette. I have also used a 6.5 Creedmoor for the match id it worked great.

Don’t think it really matters. Both are great and with all the brass options there’s no real downside to either. One shoots a hair faster if you care about that and the other has a little longer neck if you care about that. I shoot a BRA personally but have shot a dasher in the past. Both are very proven so don’t sweat it.

Yes. This is what converted a hard core Dasher guy(me). Haha. You get Dasher speeds, less throat erosion and a much longer neck to work with.
