6mm Dasher factory brass

Ok. So just stay up on your cleaning?

I have been hydroforming Dasher brass and it is forming to the same 1.532-6 length. Not much different from the Peterson.

Yep that sure is short, a Dasher sure doesn't have much neck anyway one caliber at 1.550 for a 1.560 chamber and even less for the 1.570 chamber.... sure nice to have the .020- .030 of neck.... jim

Spoke with Graff and sons yesterday-only have dasher brass in bulk, can’t break up. Have back order in, but they suggest calling Peterson to find out when Graffs next 100 round shipment to be delivered. Hence, my inquiry of Mr Taylor. Thanks for your post.

Interesting, I ordered 100 pieces Friday and got a confirmation receipt? Says the box of 50's are in stock??

I just weighed 25 pieces of brass and the average weight was 142.5 grains after turning the necks and I reached over and weighed some 6br lapua brass it was about 129.0 grains in weight the Peterson is quite a bit heavier.

I ordered my 500 count boxes last Wednesday ,at that time They didn't have the 50 count boxes, but have since received some an put in inventory, so now would be a good time to reach out an get just a few if you want to try it.

I just ordered 1000 pc's of the new Peterson 6mm dasher brass I will report my findings should be here on about a week.

Yep, I did the same yesterday.Except mine are in the 50ct plastic boxes. Can't wait to see the Peterson quality 6 Dasher brass arrive at my door for testing.

I have seen where several guys hydroforming end up with brass around 1.53. Peterson specs their Dasher brass at 1.53+-. I am wondering if it has something to do with how they make the brass, as it seems most people fireform and end up with brass around 1.55, and their rifles are chambered accordingly Yet, Peterson chose 1.53 as their length.
Either way, there is plenty of neck to hold the bullet and those that know say that the shorter neck does not effect accuracy. The main issue seems to be carbon build up in front of the short neck.

Just was able to place order with Graf for Dasher brass in 50 rd boxes. Greatfull for help in. Getting this done!

The .200 line went to .4705
I didn't measure how much the shoulder blew out.
Ok thanks. I didn't know if you could just measure one of the other pieces for comparison? Did you happen to see how much the body grew in dia. just before the shoulder? Thanks

Well I dedicated four pieces of brass to put my Barrel on paper, I just hit it lightly on the first firing with about 31.0 grains of reloader 15. Using 205 Federal primer,I loaded them four cases 5 times to see how the primer pockets are standing up no issue there at all.
I went up to 32.8 grains that was right at 3000 fps wasn't really looking forward to an accuracy node.
