What's the overall length like advertising 1.530 long.

Picked up 3 random pieces and they all measured 1.532 with my calipers.

“The 6 Dasher made by Peterson are offered in Small Rifle Primer (SRP) pocket size only. They have a .060” flash hole diameter, same as Lapua’s small rifle primer pockets.

Regarding Overall Length (OAL), Peterson researched all the popular chamber reamer sizes, and decided to make its casings with an OAL of 1.53” + or - .0005, so they’ll fit in the common 6 Dasher chambers. .0013" that's pretty thin...

I have about 3 weeks before the 600 yard GBA Nationals I will have it ready been there done that.

yeah it's probably a typo. I read it - that they meant: ".013"

and are either compatible with the grizzly reamer?

and if not, what reamer do i need for either/both of these?

The Grizzly Norma Dasher reamer uses the longer necked Norma Dasher brass.

Grizzly also offers / offered a Lapua Dasher reamer that would use the Alpha brass.

The Norma brass in a Lapua chamber would need trimmed to fit but would otherwise work.

Just got my thousand pieces of Peterson Dasher brass pulled a handful out of the bag the weight variation was only a few tenths from top to bottom.
I come up with about .0135 on wall thickness an there about 1.532 long on average getting ready to turn a few necks an see how it works out should be tuning by Monday.

Stan, 1,532 long ?? man is that short 1.555 is 6br Lapua and it FF. to 1.550 for a 1.560 chamber.... jim

Stan, 1,532 long ?? man is that short 1.555 is 6br Lapua and it FF. to 1.550 for a 1.560 chamber.... jim

That length is in material to me I can fix that.

First and foremost the fact that the brass is short are people concerned with a carbon ring

Ok. So just stay up on your cleaning?

I have been hydroforming Dasher brass and it is forming to the same 1.532-6 length. Not much different from the Peterson.
