so today i shot five 3 shot groups. load was 33.3 of 15.5, and started at "touch" ( my zero point) and then went "off" -5,-10,-15,-20. only shot at 100 today as wind had picked up a little. 0.160", .5", 0.350", 0.235: and .5". i will re shoot the 2 small groups as 5 shots and see what happens. this is all at about 2985 fps.

so i took the new rifle with 50 rounds of 33.3 and touch length to OJAI for a 600 y match. ohh and a new rest, SEB MAX. this was to be a training/learning match. i learned that i shot my first 50 !( i shot back to back to back 49's for a national win..but never a 50) we had excellent weather. my small group was a 1.742, total score 145 and 2.036 agg. and i have more work to do with this load. next up is deep creek.( no published match results yet)

so the results got posted
i took lite gun overall with both high score and small agg.
also took small agg in heavy gun giving me the overall win.
not bad for "almost a good load"
ok relay had a lot to do with it. some better shooters got on realy 2 and the weather went down hill by then. i got lucky

so today i reshot the same load in 5 shot groups with ONE change. i increased neck tension/sizing in .001 steps from the .001 i started with.
.003 showed a much tighter rounder group....may do some small oal and charge change tests. we will see...time and weather
