Can a person simply take a 6.5 Creedmoor Type S die and insert appropriate bushing and expander to FL size 6mm Creedmoor for the now standardized "6mm Creedmoor" stamped brass?

I think it probably would work.
For my 6mm Creedmoor I used a Hornady FL 6.5 Creedmoor die and converted it to a bushing die, I use a decapping pin holder that doesn't touch the neck.
I see Midway USA has a Hornady FL die set for the 6mm Creedmoor. It doesn't however appear to be a bushing die.

Yes, I know this. But I've not been a big fan of Hornady dies. I want to be able to control neck tension.
