6mm Creedmoor 70gr Nosler Ballistic Tip load info

Anyone shooting their 6mm Creeds with 70gr Ballistic Tips? If any of you are, I'd appreciate hearing about what is working for you.

In a 243 imr 4064 is hard to beat..I would try that.

Got the call a few minutes ago that it was all done and text pic of the test target. It looks like RL16 and Nosler 70gr Ballistic Tips like each other pretty well. I'll be picking it up early next week. Shawn w/Defensive Edge Rifles has built me some crazy accurate rifles and this one appears to be no different.

I can only tell you that in a 6-284 the 70 NBT over H-4350 was a wicked combo. It had dramatic affect on g-hogs.
It should be a lot of fun in a Creed size case.

I use H4350 in my 6-284 also, but it's with 75gr Vmax. There's definitely some newer powders that would give me higher velocities than H4350 does in my 6-284, but the load that I have for it shoots soooooo darn good, I hate to mess with it.

Sorry, I don't know what the FB length is, but if it helps give you some idea, touch is 2.515 w/70gr Nosler BT so I'm guessing it doesn't have a great deal of FB length.

How far in is the bullet you think? Half the bullet?

I'd say the base of the bullet is just slightly below the neck/shoulder junction.

Like I said, I didn't think it had much FB and as long as it shoots well, works for me....
