6mm-06 with 70gr NBT

I tried the search function and couldn't find any info, maybe I'm not doing right but I need info for the 6-06 using the 70gr Nosler ballistic tip.
If anyone has used this combo your experience and advice would be appreciated, powder choice is the most important info.
I'm working with a friends rifle that has a 27' 1-13' twist PacNor barrel on a Savage action, it will be used for coyote hunting.
We hope to achieve at least 3800 fps, 3900 would be better.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks Lynn,
I was looking at using AA4350, I have a bunch )but was wondering if there was a better powder choice.
The listed OAL for the 70gr NBT is close to what we came up with for my friends rifle, his is 3.150' at .010' off the lands.
Is this data from your rifle and if so is 3706 fps the fastest speed you have safely achieved with it for the 70 gr NBT, do you think the 1-13' twist will help in getting more velocity?
My friend is only interested in pushing the lighter bullets real fast, I suggested a faster twist myself but that's not what he was interested in.
Speed and a flat shooting bullet out to 4-500yds mean the most to him.
Thanks again,

My 6mm-06 has a 26' Kreiger 1-10 twist barrel. I may have a fast tube, but with H4350 I have hit 3900 at approx .750 through a #4 contour sporter. It also lets me push 85gr TSX at 3650. You should see what it does to antelope at 300+yds.

Well if we can reach 3900fps with AA4350 that would be awesome.
I have some H4350 but only a couple of pounds and that's used for my 300 WSM HG.
We're going out this weekend to try some different loads with AA4350, hopefully we'll get some good results.

Went to the range today and achieved our goal of 3900 fps with AA4350 but accuracy wasn't the best, averaging around .75 moa and ES totally sucked at an average of 75 fps.
Did shoot one group just under .5 moa but it must of been sheer luck as we couldn't duplicate it.
Going to try RE 22 next.

We started with 52 grs of AA4350 and worked our way up to 53.6 grs and was just starting to see just a little pressure sign, ever so slight harder bolt lift.
Was thinking about starting around 57 grs, QL has data for the 240 Weatherby and it shows 60 grs as being near max with the 70gr NBT.
Any reason for starting at 52 grs with RE 22?

Thanks for your help,
Wayne aka WAMBO

Lynn,
Thank you very much for all the info.
I'll let you know how RE22 works out after my friend gets back from using it to hunt coyotes next week.
He feels that one of the loads with AA4350 is good enough for the hunt, I can hardly wait to see how the RE22 works out.
