Why Not? Supposedly the GT's primary selling point is improved feeding. Yet the GT's 35 Degree shoulder design could be attributed to numerous feeding issues with the GT. By implementing the BR's 30 degree shoulder while also lengthening the Neck it should provide a superior design for better feeding. The BR is a very well established design loved by thousands. These same shooters already have hardware for the BR and just might consider this an option. Any small percentage of capacity loss is negligible and might actually be welcome by shooters. Of Course without premium brass the GT might not be attractive to all shooters. Thanks for the reply.

I have a 6mm Competition Match Short that shoots good. It was a screwup on a chambering job that a fella did. Gmac cut my original die down that Dave Bruno made me years ago. Run the. 243 brass thru the die and trim to length, kinda like the 6SLR.

I was wondering what it would take to make 32.7 Grains of Varget the perfect Case from GT brass. Then how it might look with the Lapua Shoulder. It's all a guess. I know some may find this comical.

To me, that sounds a whole lot like a Dasher. Basically leave the body design alone and make the neck length to your liking.
Or BRX with a 30* shoulder.
