I just shot my personel best today. shot at 311 yards. shot 10 shots, 5 in one spot and the last 5 at the other spot, needless to say, the last 5 where the best. I got two of these barrels. I got them from the urban rifleman. I was going to do a review on them, but I guess is review enough in a way. I mean, a .775 inch group at tic over 300. This is my first true under a inch group over 300. Iv shot many under at 250. And just yesterday I shot two that measured 1.25 a piece. Im giving credit to him for the barrels, no joke, they shoot. And Imr 4350. Im at 30.5
WOW!!!!!!
What was the bullet?
Owl yeah, you are correct. Today was interesting because I had mirage, which made me dial down, and a quartering head breeze. WHO ever told me to start using wind flags sure knew what they where talking about. Its been a solid year since Iv been shooting seriously, and the amount of knowledge from this sight, and the practice sure has changed my interest in this sport. I love it. Ther seems to always be something more to learn. Im wanting to join a range, so I could learn technique. I wouldnt doubt I have developed bad habits.
Sure was sir,Ummm. That was me!!!
Sure was sir,
I ust to hear about what it takes to shoot long range and thought that it couldnt be that hard. Lord!was I wrong. My .3s, .2s, occasional .1 at 100 meant nothin if I didnt know where the winds goin. I shoot at paper targets 8by8 in a pasture. I dont have luxury of seeing misses in grass. In between using wind flaggs and small targets has helped alot too.
BTW, it took me over a year to get a group like that. I dont know what article I read on here, but the shooter quoted saying, "If my rig aint shooting a inch at 300, somethings wrong" That bothered me! Anyway, that why I chased it til I shot it out right.
Question for anyone, when the moisture is up, foggy, to slight mist , what do you do different if anything, or do you anticipate groups opening up?
Done it again today! went up 2 tenths in charge. This is H4350 and the others where IMR4350.
Crazy , I had no idea this stuff could do this
And i bought forgot, This is those primers from Bosneia , they are brass in color with red on inside. I think its Bosneia.. Maybe Lithuania. Im not sure, but they are doing as good if not better than the 450s. The primer cup in this primer is bigger, which helps with loose primer pockets. Im getting more out of my brass. Im sure Once Iv used these I couldnt go back to the others once these have been installed. I had cleaned and polished about 300 pieces and primed about 150 with these other primers. So far I like them alot. I paid 80$ for a 1000.
6bra 1in8 26 longwould be nice to see guy's list the H-4350 loads that are working for them in the Your favorite 6BR load thread. But nice to some loads on this thread mentioned and your success.
All the old threads on searches for this powder in the standard 6BR Norma just end without folks giving their results. Thanks for sharing you results here for others to have options.
I will also mention how interesting barrel length is, mainly for so many who think the longer the barrel the faster the load,,,,, NO this is not always true! I understand slower powders get an advantage with a little longer barrel. But in my findings, the Standard BR is about as good as it going to get between 24 and 26 inch.
I got more velocity with this load out of 23.5" barrel, but it is running a 1-10 twist. But I have seen that most showing loads I have shot in my 1-8" are not quite what I'm getting for speed in my 26" barrel! I was made aware of this with other calibers when shooting with Fred Sinclair years ago. I watched Fred start with 30" barrels and cut them 1" at a time, and depending on caliber, all had a sweet spot for velocity and SD. seldom was it at the longest end!
For your H-4350 loads with the 90's and the 108's I believe you will find a better node working up. That's been my results anyways. The 26" barrel length in my opinion is perfect for a 1-8 standard 6BR Norma round.6bra 1in8 26 long
Iv tried reloader 15 ,varget, Ar comp. 4895
Had success with all those to a degree.
I had sum H4350 left over from several years back and tried it. Shot well. If i remember right, I went straight to 29g and shot inch half group at 200. Then found a pound of imr4350 and went to 30g.
It made water lines all the way to 350, which is as far as I got at home.
I will say the H4350 is a lil better.
108s take 30.5
90s take 33.1
So, Im trying to find more 4350.
I shot some Ar comp today with the 90g bergers,. 29 grains gave me a one hole at 100. I had already done seating depth tests with the 90s.
The 90s and 108s Im minus 5thou hard Jam on both bullets.

The hole purpose of me suggesting that as well as this thread is to get the results with the loads you try, and those results better or not is what all the other threads on this powder leave out.I did
I believe I understand what you mean now. Anyone interested in looking up 4350 for 6bra just cant find do a an easy search and find data for it. I guess thers no published data. The hole purpose of me suggesting that as well as this thread is to get the results with the loads you try, and those results better or not is what all the other threads on this powder leave out.
Would you share those results so this thread has information on the subject, unlike the rest of the threads searched on this combo, as well as more than one individuals results?

I actually stubled on it outta curiosity. Iv shot a pound of imr4350 and h4350 with 90s and 108s. at 100 and 311 yards.
h4350 with the
108s at 29g was 2750 plus or minus
I finished at 30.6 2840
Im using a caldwell chronoghraph so Im not sure how accurate it is.
For ten shots at 30.5 the spread was 20fps
Hope this helps
