Hi all,

Thanks,

You? Clean a barrel? NAW! LOL As Joe said "come on man!"Several variables to answer that and not all bbls are equal. I've seen some go way, way longer than they should and others, not so much. And it depends on your accuracy requirements, too. If you need a gun to agg in the .1's, a good rule is maybe 1500 rounds. If you're ok with a gun that aggs in the .3's, maybe 4000. Some will go and go, though. I have a 6 Grendel bbl with roughly 7000 rounds on it and it is still shooting phenomenally well...BR well. But that's not the norm at all. It finally started pulling copper like crazy but it still shoots great if it's reasonably clean.
Oh I clean. Just not after every card. Typically after every day of shooting. 125-200 rounds using danzac coated bullets. I always bring my cleaning stuff in case I see it fall off or anything. You? Clean a barrel? NAW! LOL As Joe said "come on man!"
Hey, this past weekend I shot about 130 rounds (I had some I knew nothing about the load on and was just ff brass) without cleaning, almost a 1st for me! But if I can beat Mike Schubert I'm good with that! I'm taking a brass hammer next time and screw with Bruds ammo! (NOT).Oh I clean. Just not after every card.
