6mm BR barrel life

How much barrel life is common out of a 6mm BR. What are your fellows experiance with this caliber before you see a notable difference in accuracy?

I have a BRX with approx 2500 rnds down the tube. It still shoots like it did when I first got it finished. Only time will tell. I shot a 599-35x with it at a midrange match last July.

My 10 yr old 12T Pac Nor has 5K+ rds out..

Still going strong....stickley a p/dog table gun...

599 out of possible how many points , sounds great if total was 600? what kind of match was it.

Yes, that was out of 600. It was a NRA match at Miami Rifle and Pistol Range just outside of Cinn, OH. Dropped the point on the 16th round of the 3rd match.......It was definately a good day...

You can say it as more shooting because it is..From 600- and 1000-yard benchrest..

Wow only 2500 is the expected barrel life on a 6br? I know there are alot of other variables but I would hope for a little more than that...

My .260rem pushing the outer limits of pressure gets right around 2500 before velocity and acceptable accuracy starts to drop off..

I'm hoping my 6br will out last it .....

I guess only time will tell....
