6mm bore .236/.237

Rather than asking every barrel maker. What is the norm as far as bore size in 6mm? .236 or .237? As I would like to order a 6mmBR 8 twist HV from Kieger what should I order and why?

I did a poll of shooters, barel makers, and gunsmiths a while ago you may be able to do a forum search and find it. Results and reasons were split pretty much down the middle.
My advice is measure some of the bullets you intend to use. For example Lapua bullets are a bit undersized measuring .24285. A .236 bore woulds be better here.
Some fatter bullets measuring over .2430 perhaps would fair better with a .237 bore. The theroy here is less jacket deformation.
I personally prefer .237 bores in my Kreigers just because they have worked really well in the past. The Bergers I'm shooting measure .24310 where the bearing surface meets the boattail. I've also shot some fat .24335 VLD's and they shot well also in my .237 bores.
