6mm 109 Hybrid Velocity Trends?

Are you finding consistent velocity nodes with the 109 hybrids? Curious how these new bullets compare to the 105 hybrid's velocity nodes. For example, I've had pretty consistent success running the 105 hybrids just over 3000 fps in multiple, different barrels.

Have you noticed velocity node trends with the 109s?

I had success at 2910 ish in a 6bra/Krieger/8t.

TAC 40, slightly less capacity than Dasher, I'm getting 2980 to 3005 fps out of 109 depending on powder.

Finally settled on a load producing around 3005-3010 fps. 6mm Dasher, Varget, Krieger 30" barrel. Also found a good lower node around 2950 fps that I may circle back to at some point.

Using N160 and either CCI-200 or BR-2 primers, and Peterson Brass I get the following velocities.
Measured using a Magnetospeed V3. 50 degrees 200 ft elevation, gray day so call humidity 50%
Note: These are beyond published maximum loads for a 243! Don't start here please!

43.2gr: 3098 fps
43.3gr: 3121 fps; Accuracy node in my rifle
43.4gr: 3123 fps

I'm doing some load development in a .243 Ackley right now and thought I would give the 109s a try. I am using H4831sc and I had an excellent node at 2970fps at 42.0gr with the 109s but haven't found anything hotter that will shoot nearly as tight. I'm thinking I might switch back to the 105 Hybrids and see what that does.

ES = 16 and SD = 6.7

Yes and no. I'm committed to N160 for the moment as I have it and it isn't made with unobtanium like 4831 is.

Berger 109s and DTAC 115s recommend a 1:8 twist. The very VLD SMK 110 wants 1:7 twist and with mixed results in my 1:7.5 twist, I'm tending to agree.

That would be my first load dev. powder. Always had good results with N165 in .243AI. Have you tried N565 too?

I've been watching the results on the 109, wanting to try them in a 6rem. Currently pushing a 105rdf at 3112.

I ended up finding a great load in the .243 Ackley. I switched to R-16 and at 43.5gr I am getting 3156fps and an SD of 4 with groups in the high .2s and .3s. I'm very happy with that. I still need to stretch it's legs but the 109 seems to be a solid performer so far.
