6mm 109 Hybrid Velocity Trends?

Are you finding consistent velocity nodes with the 109 hybrids? Curious how these new bullets compare to the 105 hybrid's velocity nodes. For example, I've had pretty consistent success running the 105 hybrids just over 3000 fps in multiple, different barrels.

Have you noticed velocity node trends with the 109s?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Anything in the 3100-3160 range? Perhaps with a 6 Creedmoor?

3100-3160 range? Yes
6CM? No

I'm shooting 6SLR, a 243 wildcat with a 30 shoulder out of a Brux 31in by 1.25in barrel with 400+ rounds

Using N160 and either CCI-200 or BR-2 primers, and Peterson Brass I get the following velocities.
Measured using a Magnetospeed V3. 50 degrees 200 ft elevation, gray day so call humidity 50%
Note: These are beyond published maximum loads for a 243! Don't start here please!

Berger 109 Hybrid Target jumped .030
43.1gr: 3091 fps
43.2gr: 3098 fps
43.3gr: 3121 fps; Accuracy node in my rifle
43.4gr: 3123 fps
43.5gr: 3130 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs
43.6gr: 3138 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs
43.7gr: 3150 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs
43.8gr: 3162 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs
43.9gr: 3163 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs. High pressure accuracy node
44.0gr: 3175 fps Ejector wipe pressure signs

I'm doing some load development in a .243 Ackley right now and thought I would give the 109s a try. I am using H4831sc and I had an excellent node at 2970fps at 42.0gr with the 109s but haven't found anything hotter that will shoot nearly as tight. I'm thinking I might switch back to the 105 Hybrids and see what that does.

What kind of Es numbers are you getting at 43.3 with 109s? I'm getting 3150-75 with Berger 105s, but with H4895 and 4350. Haven't gotten low Es or accuracy I'd like. Savage single shot, SLR and 30 in Krieger. Shooting 400 yards.

Thanks for the SLR info. Just building one. I have a Criterion barrel that shoots in the .3's in BRX. The reamer has arrived from Manson amd the die from Whidden. Currently hunting for a suitable action. Probably Savage.

Berger 109s and DTAC 115s recommend a 1:8 twist. The very VLD SMK 110 wants 1:7 twist and with mixed results in my 1:7.5 twist, I'm tending to agree.

I'm shooting the 105's / 107's in my SLR, mostly around 3150 fps, N-165 powder ~47.0gr. I haven't tried the 109's yet.
That would be my first load dev. powder. Always had good results with N165 in .243AI. Have you tried N565 too?

I've been watching the results on the 109, wanting to try them in a 6rem. Currently pushing a 105rdf at 3112.

I ended up finding a great load in the .243 Ackley. I switched to R-16 and at 43.5gr I am getting 3156fps and an SD of 4 with groups in the high .2s and .3s. I'm very happy with that. I still need to stretch it's legs but the 109 seems to be a solid performer so far.
