The 6CM is what I think the best all around round ever. I have one from Joe Hendricks. It is a .243 with a blown out shoulder. I shoot a 115 DTAC bullet approx. 3200 FPS with 49.0 gr. of H1000 out of Winchester brass. Look up 6CM on this site and read all the posts from Joe Hendricks. He also just set two National Records this year with a 6CM out of a barrel with over 3500 rounds thru the barrel. This is a 200 yard 5 shot group fire forming brass from my 6CM. Mine is on a Savage receiver and I will have another one of these for sure. I couldn’t recommend a better round. Shoot Strait teele1

Hey Teele, Thanks alto,I'm considering a custom rifle.Ive owned several over the counter guns that I had tuned up a bit.My favorite cal is a .308 but I am open minded,theres so many calibers now to choose from its crossing my eyes!Not that crazy about Rem. actions although they are great,everyone owns one around here, and I would like something different -like a CZ or savage.Possibly even some custom . The A5 stock looks nice,then barrel selection,man the sky is the limit in this if you have the cash,anyway thanks -Ill research more.

If you have the cash. Well I've got only about $1500.00 in my 6CM. SS Savage single shot receiver, SS Krieger 6CM barrel, chambered by David Bruno ), Bell & Carlson Medalist stock, Farrell 20MOA base, PRW rings and a T24 Weaver scope. That also included the custom sizing die for 6CM. Can't beat that and the fact that you use Winchester brass and 115 DTAC bullets, so loading is reasonable. Shoot Strait teele1
