6BRX does it again

Well, that 0.847" back in 2018 was apparently an Australian National Fly Shoot Record, wasn't it? This 0.579" ...

Were they both shot with that same rifle?

Pretty great shooting, however it turns out. Nicely done.

Yeah to get a national record it needs to be shot in a regisistered match and this was only a club shoot. So no national record for me but yes it was better than my other 2 national records
Both shot with same rifle but different barrels/powder and bullets.. Original records done with 28 inch Krieger 4 groove 1:7.5 twist HV with 2208/varget and 105gr hybrids.. This barrel 28 inch Krieger 5R 1:7.5 twist HV with 2209/H4350 and 108gr bergers.. Both barrels 0.236 bore and different reamers

OK I gotta do it because I'm happy as a pig in mud.. We had our 500m fly shoot today and after being delayed for an hour because of fog we got into it.. It was still not the best looking down the scope but I happened to pull out a perfect fly target at 500m/547y (not sure if its ever been done before in 30 years of shooting it here in Australia, need to find out)

Gun is 6BRX, Dual Port Stolle Panda, McMillan F class stock, 28" Krieger 5R 0.236 bore 1:7.5 twist HV, Erik Cortina tuner, Jewell trigger, Nightforce Comp, 108gr bergers with 35.1gr of 2209/H4350 at 2940fps and CCI 450s.
