6brx and RL 15

Bought a 6brx last fall from a local g.s. basically on a whim. Absolutely love this little round. Now that i have developed a load (a lot a great info from the experts on this forum) 32.8 varget, cci450, lapua, 105 vld berg. ,,, i'm running low on varget. I found a couple lbs of rl 15. Any help with this combo, or any other alternatives would be appreciated.

Chad,

With RL15 start at 31.5grs and go up from there. your load should be right around where your varget is.

If you find any H4895 the BRX really likes that as well. I use 32.5 grains with the CCI 450 primers, 105 Hybrids in a Remington 700, Krieger 29" 1x8. Shoots cleans at 600 when I read the wind correctly.

Hope you meant to say 105s as I have found trying to load 150s into a 6BRX very hard to do....... :o

My old BRX loved 32.1gr of rl15 with danzac coated 150 vlds.

Make sure if you try H4895 you start around 31 grains and work up, 32.5 grains is a stout load in most guns.

Good luck,
