If Sam named it correctly how does TAC40 fit in? Sounds tacticool. Wouldnt it be more "correct" to name it 6br ai + .068" ?

I will go into detail to anyone wanting to know how the F- Class Mid range National record holding case got it's name.
I'll give a hint.
First name, Tim
Middle, Alan
Last name, Claunch
It has to do with first letter in each of my 3 names. I can provide another hint if needed..

. Im just messing with ya. It goes both ways. As I have said a million times, the BRA is not my idea. I heard about it from Sam. I have no desire to put my name on anything. Its not my cup of tea. I dont like br imp because everything on a Br case is a br imp. I have gotten so many calls about the br ai/BRA from confused people that dont understand what it is. Im just glad it has a name that is different than brai or ba imp. If guys worried about groups like names on a reamer records would fall! Sam did good because this case has EXPLODED in popularity! Dont not try this case because you dont like me, its got nothing to do with me.

Just saw this. Disgusted? Its on its way to possibly 7 new world records in Benchrest this year alone. Its exploded in popularity and I believe it will be the winning-est case ever in long range. I couldnt be more proud of the case. BR Ackley just like .260 Ackley, get over it. I think maybe its not disgust your feeling.

I think "BRA" is my fault, I started with "brackley". But I'm lazy, and all those syllables were to much work. No different than "BRTM", "BRA-BRO", "BR-STR", are all EXACTLY the same body dimensions and headspace as the original "BRA". As Matt said, it's just a name, and it's not proprietary, get whatever name stamped on there you'd like.

We are fooling ourselves to think someone didn't try a 6 BR AI back when the 6br was popular in short range. My opinion, drop the jealously, forget who was "first", what its named, and go and do something with the case. Thats why its popular now and not 10 years ago, shooters are winning and breaking records with it.

The 6BR Remington came out commercialy 39 years ago in 1978. Wildcatters were just as rabid then as they are now. There is no doubt this has been done at least 38+ years ago and many times since. It just took a world class shooter to bring it to our attention.

Yes, it's disgust, to not honor Sam Halls initial post on this case. He deserves the awakening. We all watched with interest. I don't see any credit given where it's deserved. Not near enough.

I have a copy of his (D D) print and a copy of his reamer that I made back in 2010. Ammo made and 23 shots out of the barrel back then. Not found the time to follow up on it.
Call it what ever fits your fancy. This is just a game to enjoy and appreciate with our fellow shooters. As we get older, things are far more simpler than others attempt to make it out.

LOL I could have moved the shoulder .010" and called it a 6AW or the shawty?. Not my thing. The guys who got the "awakening" as you call it are the shooters who have set records with it. If you have not seen me give credit you have not read my posts. But since I have never claimed to have created the case Im not sure why I have to constantly tell people I didnt create the case? Its pronounced Bee-are-eh by the way
