6BRDX H4895

got to be careful with that,,you can hit some pressure fast,,at 31 grs even I got 2950 and some good lookin clusters at 300 with the 105 VLD ,at 31.7 I started seeing pressure and at 32 was over the top,,

backed down and started at 30.5 and at 31 I think it is the best load I have tried so far,,

average 2954 and SD 6 and holding less than 1/4 MOA at 300,,

anybody use 4895

This time of the year it sits in the powder locker. Great powder early and late in the year when temps are more moderate IMHO.

Answering my own question, 34 grains of re 16 made it difficult to seat Berger 105vld's. Like someone mentioned, shortcut re 16 would be great. Grouped ok, no better than re 15 at 300 yards. 1/2 moa.

I never shot RL16 but had good luck with 36 grs H4350
What primer and does that much h4350 fill up to shoulder/neck junction? Like 4350 more than H4895? Read your earlier posts about pressure issues with 4895. Re 15 at 31.5 works real well at 300 but that was at 40 degrees f. And am looking for consistent powder for summer league till November.

36 grs 4350 through a 12 inch drop tube is right at the NSJ,,the H4350 load shot best year round for me than RL15 or Varget,,,,I tried the 450 primers but had better ES and groups with WW WSR primers,,
