Thank you Sir.I use N150 for 108's. 31.3 gives me 2920 with room for more.
I tend to use H4895 for 103/105 bullets

It’s just a matter of time! For Three years I’ve been saying the Dasher was overbore and threw shots! Took a lot of heat over it. Now, others see it to! Don’t get me wrong the Dasher with the right reamer, right powder, right shooter is still formidable. But the 6BRA has the edge in agging ability, ease of tuning, and making brass.
In the 600 yard arena most of the matches I’ve been to, have been won with either a 6BR or 6BRA. Now if you head over to Piedmont you’ve got some pretty tough guys over there like Chris Nicoles and Jeff Godfrey that can wear you out with a Dasher! But I’ve seen several shooters go from the Outhouse to the Penthouse and the only thing they changed was ditch the Dasher for a 6BRA! That includes yours truly!
Probably a better test would be to put a Dasher and a 6BRA in the hands of a relatively new shooter. That would be fun to see.
Most of the top guys can figure out how to make any decent combination work! I’m not married to any caliber. I’ll shoot whatever makes me the most competitive and the Dasher ain’t it folks!
Count me in as anew shooter
Those 103gr are really hard to find??Did a ladder with H4895, 450 primers and Bart 103 Hammers today at 550yds. Pic below is last group of the day. Bullets are jammed .012 from touch traveling at 2961fps. These 103 Hammers can get it done.

What was the load??? Powder and bullet??In addition to my more serious tight neck 6BRA, on a whim I decided to put together a fun gun from some available components using a varmint contour Urban Rifleman barrel with a no turn chamber, with zero freebore and eight inch twist. A friend did me a favor and sighted it in for me and fire formed some cases, during a recent range session, as a fill in, while waiting for his rifle's barrel to cool. It is hot in Fresno right now. Anyway, the plan is to set up the rifle for anyone who is less experienced that I take to the range. The rifle has a benchrest stock, light trigger and 36X scope. My friend has an excellent rest, and has been coming along very nicely with his bench shooting, that I have been working with him on a bit. The loads were made up using some short range benchrest bullets, all with the same guesstimate load. As he started to shoot the rifle, which were its first shots, he could see that it had potential, so he put up another target wit a pair of aiming points and shot this three shot group. He chickened out on adding more, not wanting to spoil it. I thought that you might be interested. It certainly made me smile. The reason that I had some confidence in the potential of light bullets with an 8" twist barrel was because of a post in this thread. I have a lot of short range odds and ends, with usable quantities of several, and plenty of this powder, so I think that the project is GTG. Looks like a low to mid one to me.
The load test has not been shot yet. I have a good supply of Norma 203B (RL15) and some Berger bullets that I noticed a long time back on their web site. They are some FB double radius ogive .825 jacket, 68 gr bullets that they chose not to add to their line. I got several hundred for a song. Based on long drop tube slow pour I started down from 35.6 grains (could have done 36) and went down in .3 gr steps to 34.1. MY experience with cases of this size is that much spread is likely to capture one node. The bullets are seated about +.004 Federal 205Ms I know that it is only a rough approximation but Quickload tells me that 35.6 is around 52KPSI. Lapua brass. What was the load??? Powder and bullet??
So the sweet spot 34.1? Thank You.The load test has not been shot yet. I have a good supply of Norma 302B (RL15) and some Berger bullets that I noticed a long time back on their web site. I won't know until we shoot the test, but if you look at PPC node spacing that charge weight span should include a node.....hopefully.So the sweet spot 34.1? Thank You.
Exact same load (and velocity) I use. Works very wellI use N150 for 108's. 31.3 gives me 2920 with room for more.

Yellow always shoot well.
YesSo, was the horizontal in 16-19 wind?
No pressure and will do another small ladder 32.1 - 32.7Thanks for sharing. Did you get pressure signs at 32.4? If not, it would be nice to see what 30.6 looks like.
