6bra 112gr barnes load

Looking to see who is running the 112gr barnes out of there 6bra! I have became fond of them in 6XC thanks to @urbanrifleman and now running them in a 160 freebore 6bra. I would like to hear your experiences with them. Most people say they are junk. So if that's all you have to say well then don't even bother commenting here.

Most people say they are junk.

I have no comment on that...

I just had a customer call me asking me about what he should shoot. He said "I need to go do some research". I told him that would just confuse him.

At least go to trusted sources!!!

I thought you showed it was shooing pretty darn.

I am using a straight 6br, 7 1/2 twist, shooting 500 meters at rams, 30.6 gn. of varget, lots of 1/2" to 3/4" groups at 200 yards.

I like them in my dasher, my regret is that I didn’t try them in my 243 while I had it. I use both the 105 bar match burners and the 112 and they have been good for me. I’ve don’t shoot competition and so I don’t need the extra cost of the Berger hybrid.

In the process of blowing out brass for my 6BRX with these and seeing pretty good results with the groups. Holding @ .375 and under with some 5-shot groups under .250.
What reamer did you use for your 6BRX?
The Clymer Tool one based on Bob Crone's version or some other maker?
FB .160"?
1:8 or 1:7.5 twist?

Mine is 120 F B 1 - 7 Tw.Planning to shoot the 115 gr. DTACs once I get my brass blown out.
1:7 should spin them right up. I was thinking of 105's - 110's.
I bought some 115's for a 6BRA with a 1:7 but never got around to shooting them as I was "discouraged" from using them as "Too Heavy" for the case capacity... On sold them to a .243AI shooter... {:~/

Yea I kind of got a peek at how the 115s look today with powder charges. Had some good #s. Seating depth should go quickly next. Maybe tomorrow.
