6br vs starting 6 ppc

I’ve seen different length barrels fool you as shorter being faster than long. I think it really has to do with bore and groove dia, chamber, neck clearance. All that kind of stuff. Plus I have seen different lots of the same powder be way off on burn speed before. Could just be the powder.
Nice group. .150-160 ish ? From looking at the group I would go up 2-3 tenths on powder or in 5-10 with the bullet. If NG go the other way.
By in, I mean into the case.

I am curious about one thing. I'm getting velocities with the bullet that Vihtavuori lists for their max load of 33.9 grains of N135. I'm only using 31.4 and getting what seem to be hot loads. Could a 24" barrel make that big a difference?
Dont know if its been mentioned but
Also remember that different brass has different thicknesses
Thicker brass will increase pressures
Weight sort your brass for extreme accuracy load development
VV's listing may be with one type of brass while you may be using thicker brass than they did during their load development.
Then there's the fact that brass grows every firing/ full length sizing cycle and must be trimmed
Over a few trimmings that brass that started out at 130 grns may be 127 grns now.
VV could be on their 10th trimming cycle when they listed 33.9 grns of N135
(Likely not, but is a parameter they don't list ....so who's to know if they are using brand new virgin brass,
once fired fireformed brass, 7th fired brass? etc.)
