6BR vor varmints

Hey guys,

I would like to have a 6BR built for varmints. I will be using Lapua brass and would like to shoot 70-80gr Nos B tips and
V-Max bullets. I would like to go with about a 20" heavy barrel. Who would I obtain a good reamer from and what specs would you guys suggest? Any suggestions or opinions?

Building almost exactly what you are asking except mine will have 26 inch tube.

For a reamer I'd go to Dave Kiff. As for dimensions, if you want a "no turn neck", then a .272 neck sounds good. If you want to turn them, then pick your poison. I shoot a .266 in my bench gun. If it was for varmints, I'd would go somewhere between .269 to .272 and either make a light turn, or leave it a no turn. For those bullet weights, I'd probably stay somewhere around .060-.070 on the freebore.
