6BR & the Berger 109 & Varget?

Who here has tested the 109 in a straight BR, hopefully w/ Varget? Any starting load recs? Jump preferences?

I run them in a 26" criterion at 2830. Load ended up at 30.0 varget .010 jump. Was very easy to find a load for. Same barrel ran Berger 108's at 2850 with 29.8 of varget. The 109's held .2 mil less elevation at 500 yards and noticeably less wind deflection.

On a second note, had to put an axis doe in the freezer last week so first test with the 109. Shot was 260 yards and deer was hard quarter away. Bullet entered last rib and exited opposite shoulder. Completely demolished offside lung and took top of heart completely off. Exit hole was slightly larger then bullet diameter. Compared to to 108 it is a much harder bullet in meat(I would guess a 108 wouldn't exit from that angle based off of previous results). I would compare the results as similar to a barnes tsx instead of typical Berger fragmentation. This is an example of one that obviously doesn't cover all situations.
