6br and 109 hybrids

Any more to add

Maybe like speed charge weight seating depth/jump etc…

Glad they are working out for you.
Pretty sure Erik Cortina uses that combo last I saw.

As far as velocity/charge/seating that’s always up to the individual to test in his particular rifle. But I’d throw out a wild guess since it’s a BR, that it’s either side of 30 grains like always and in the neighborhood of 2850. And he claims to not pay attention to distance from lands of you watch his stuff.

It’s a well known combo, I’d say run it.

Do you mean 200 109 Hybrids?
If you put 2000 through the barrel trying them, It will be time for a new barrel won't it?
I'm new so please bear with me.
What free bore in your barrel?
At what point does that number become a factor?
I know those are long bullets but being a hybrid how does that effect if anything, the touch point
as opposed to say the Berger 108 Target?
Thanks for the info, G

Here is what we have so far.

This is with N150 just started powder testing at .020 jump.

I will test some more as I get time, but will probably load 29.9 as my charge.

I did test 30 grains and .080 jump just on a whim. Numbers were similar but velocity fell to 2774fps 3 shot group about .37”

Haha i liked “he claims to not pay attention to distance from lands”. I watch cortina, learned a good bit from him but I believe he’s a sneak sneak as far as what he tells.

Lot a times you will see velocity dip or plateau when you’re close. Why are you not going until you see pressure? To me it’s important to know max even if you wind up way below. Especially when you mess around in the lands.

No real reason to not continue to see pressure, I just don't feel like its going to do anything for me. Especially being that ill seat the bullet with a jump of at least .030 or more.
