I've got a Rem 788 with a zero round 6br 1:8 24" barrel on it that will be a hunting gun. I also have a 700 6br 1:8 24" mid range target gun with about 1000 rounds on it.
I have since acquired a 6brx reamer, dies, and have about 500 pieces of brass in Norma and Lapua.
I'm have been thinking of making one of them into a BRX but haven't decided on which one.
Hunting gun is for PNW Blacktail inside of 300y max with 90-100gr bullets. Target gun is kind of a trainer/loaner in a 40xbr stock with a Sightron 36x scope for 600y F/Class and fun matches and isn't shot much.
Anyone have any reasons to choose one over the other? I can make a case for either. Thoughts?
