6BR newbie question ???

Sorry for asking some silly questions guys, but I'm about to rebarrel and rechamber a rifle and need to clear some things up!!! ???

Certainly, I'd consult with my gunsmith on these matters, but I also knew there is a wealth of knowledge available here.

PTG offers 6mm BR reamers and 6mm BR Norma reamers, Midway sales 6mmBr Lapua brass and 6mmBr Norma brass, Redding just advertises dies as 6mmBR.

How much of these can be inter-mixed??? Obviously I'd check with the smith, but don't want my new chambered rifle not accepting certain components or have problems with sizing etc.

Reamers are offered in either 6BR Remington or 6BR Norma. Go with the Norma. In doing so you can use all brands of brass. The Remington reamer limits you to the Remington brass only. Larry in western Ky.

+1 on what Larry says,you want the most modern version other wise you will be doing alot of trimming.With the 6mmbr norma,you buy lapua brass and load and shoot with very little prep.

I would advise a no neck turn reamer and stick with Lapua brass. I am still learning myself, but that is what I would advise. I think my new guns have a .272 chamber and I had the Forster resize dies honed to the size of my brass.
