6BR load data help

does anyone have load data for 6mm br using RL 15 and Sierra 85 grn Gamekings. I generally shoot 107 smk with 30.0 RL 15 but want to load an accurate hunting round. hanks for any info.

There is a wealth of load data on this sites 6BR web page for all bullet weights. Every listed load combo that I tried has been outstanding! This is excellent, reliable information. :)

A lot of the match bullets are gaining a good rep as hunting rounds. You will be happy for the extra 20gr weight when needed. Berger sell theirs in "hunting" bullet form.
If you want the 85's I would ignore expipers advice even if it is 1.41 grams this is still dangerously light. If it is a typo and 2.41 grams it could be dangerously heavy??
Start at 30 grains and work up from there slowly.

I tried to find a load for a sierra 85 grn bthp because that is what I have on hand but I dould not find a starting load online using RL15. I will probable start at 30.5 and work up from there.

Like I said earlier (before the BS was posted by expiper) "What is your barrel length and your COAL? " I'll send you a load worked up on QuickLoad software.

I have shot a lot of the 85s in my 1 in 10 Shilen. My #15 load is 31.5. Varget at 31.2. Approximately .010" of lands. I bought the #15 recently to shoot in my new BRX. I haven't used much in the BR but so far it looks close to Varget grain per grain. I started at 30 grains also. Later! Frank

thanks J Z...

FWIW.. just playing around
i tried a powley compute... its not full of new loading data an basic IMR powder.
using the info given... w/ 26" barrel an C L of 2.222 it gave 4320, 4895, 4064 / 31.1 @ 2962fps /43600 cup-49000psi

when i used the 2.183 C L an everything else the same, the change was very minor 30.8 / @2954

Good Moring one and all....I apologize if my original post confused any fellow shooters and competitors, the original poster responded as though he found it helpfull and that was my intent, I hope the he has found an accurate load for his rifle. I usually write or respond on these forums in a brief un-elaborate manner which some see as ignorant and uninformative. I dont over state what I want to say and leave out details such as powder lot ##'s and weather conditions and whether I have on boxers or briefs, however confused the other posters became was secondary to the original inquiry.
Thank YOU Lynn for the supportive input ,it is nice to hear from somone who actually competes on a National level and has 6mmBR's (and Dashers) that shoot among the best in the world. I have had a BR of some sort ,either 22 or 6mm, since the 70's and prolly have more trigger time with them than any one in the country. I have been in the top 20 several times at National events,both short and long range, over the years and am willing to share information that is range proven rather than computer generated. A 6mmBR is just like any other cal. when it comes to accuracy and tuning .
I found it best to remove my original post because there was some confusion about my data and an argumentative attitude by some of the responders. I am not saying my info is better, but it is proven on the target and at the range.
Good to hear frm U Lynn,,tell Dad HI....Roger

Thank you Roger for coming back in and explaining the situation and confusion here. This thread has been HIGHLY CENSORED to the point that it no longer is of any use. My original intent was to help smack01, and I hope he was able to derive something useful from this debacle. Some people should stay out of a thread if they come late and don't know the facts.
