6BR H4350??

goofing off today I tried some H4350 in 28 inch Bartlien 4 groove 8 twist straight 6 BR,,at 34.3 grs got 2964 fps with ES 4 and SD 1,,only shot 100 yards and 5 shots was just under .300 but wind was really badand had the Magnetospeed attached and wasnt really trying for group just trying to find pressure and I cant see or feel anything that looks any hotter than any other listed loads I have tried,,

has anybody shot their straight 6BR with 4350,,I really didnt think I could get enough 4350 in the BR case to get over pressure or this much speed,,

will try for group with flags and without chrono and see how it does,,

Tagging this one. That's 100 fps more than I get with Varget.

I stop using Varget 3 years ago in my Dashers the Es the lower pressure and more Fps . Larry

I tried the same load in my prone gun-Barnard P action and a Mastin offset stock. I did not get the SD of 1 but I got an SD of 2.8 with 5 shots. I tested at 300 yds. group was good (about 1/2in.) Not bad for shooting Irons !! so I will test further and see how it works at 600yds. May try 4451. Mike

I used it for a while and got great accuracy, but es and sd were not great, and speeds were 100 fps less than other powders.

last time I checked my 6 BR-DX with the 105 VLD and 36.2 H4350 I got 3014
