6BR Full length sizing die question

OK building my 1st 6BR Norma and plan to use only Lapua brass. Cant find 6BR Norma type s sizing die, or anyone else they all say 6BR Rem.
Have they standardized the Remington BR so it is now as long in the neck as Norma and Lapua. Wanted single Redding FL size for new brass with expander ball then use Wilson in line and neck size from there on out.

Been a few years since I have been shooting and this seems odd.

I would suggest that you contact Harrell's Precision (205-380-2683) for a semi-custom sizing die for your 6BR. He will give you the drill for sending him a couple of pieces of fired brass from your chamber. For $75 you can't beat them.

cclfn: You're encountering the same problem as many others, no thanks to the die makers who continue to label their 6BR Norma/Lapua die sets as 6BR Remington, a cartridge that is all but obsolete.

I'm looking at the box ident label on my Redding Type S Bushing Style Full Sizing Die set, #77317, and it too says "6mm B.R. Remington". The dies have been used with nothing but Lapua (and a small number of Norma) brass and they work perfectly as if intended for Norma/Lapua. Ignore the label(s).

Maybe some day they will wake up and get with the program that has existed since Norma made the 6BR brass available, shortly followed by Lapua.

I have heard about Harrell's making the dies. I have one of his Powder measures, and a compact press; but if I am starting with new brass to make ammo to shoot so I have three fired samples to send to Lynwood. Won't I still need a FL sizing die to get the first new ones loaded or am I missing something here. Does he make dies with an expander ball too? I assumed he was making inline type dies. He makes great stuff don't get me wrong and I want to give his a try, but I still need to get from here to there

Call Lynwood, he'll get you from "here to there." Expander ball? Heaven forbid, I hope not. For Bushings? Yes.

they are all the same unless you are going with the 6BRX....I use the Hornady dies with no problems.....the x is only a tat longer..

on my second 6Br, this one is an Eliseo tube gun. I have always used the "brown box"
Lapua brass till now. It is a bit thinner in the neck. I bought two Foster dies and sent them in to get them honed out. $12 each!
