6br for red deer hind?

Use a game bullet, faster.

Accubond fine bullet, but unnecessary, and probably very hard, for red deer.

85 GameKing, 90 TGK, or 95 Silvertip, max Varget.

6BR does fine on full-size deer, within reasonable range.

That TGK is at most a 3/8 Minute bullet, by the way. Maybe way less.

I just set up a dasher / 105 VLD
Should be a whoop ass deer or antelope cartridge out to whatever I need.
I tuned powder and seating at 1000 yards and confirmed the load at 546 yards.

I’ve shot about 600 animals with Bart’s bullets. Never used the Infinity but if it’s the same jacket thickness as his others, it’ll work great.

What velocity you getting?
3090 with a 26” barrel over the Garmin. I don’t know if I could get that out of my long barrel f class rifles. Shot a group and looked at the velocity and shot another to make sure I hadn’t lost my mind.

Yea that is smoking fast, my 26” bra isn’t shooting 105 hybrids that fast I’d say you are close to dasher speed

That’s why I didn’t post the velocity. I figured I’d get told I was lying or I was reloading dangerously. It shoots that one particular bullet extremely fast with no pressure. All 4 of my br f class rifles shoots 105 vld Bergers between 2820-2880. This same gun pressured out at 2840 with berger 105 vld hunting bullets. The 88 grain Berger fb varmit bullets won’t even shoot that speed before I get pressure. The 90g sierra tgk shoots extremely fast and I don’t understand the reason. But I’ve loaded 20 pieces of brass 7 times and no loose pockets or abnormal web stretching. And it shoots dots. I don’t know about the bore size it’s a @urbanrifleman prefit that I was going to use for a kid shooting competitions with me but put it in a chassis and started seeing if it would make a decent deer catcher.

Don’t matter what anyone else says, guns shoot how they shoot. I have some of those bullets, maybe I need to mess with them more. I hunt deer and coyotes with a 9 twist and tried them but it’s on a howa mini so the longer bullets can fill the magazine up quick.
