Will this R5 mag fit a chassis designed for the AICS magazine?

unfortunately the wont, but I do have an AICS compatible version simmering on one of my back burners

Josh over at patriot valley arms has a solution for AICS mags in the works. He is running a dasher along with some of his friends and they are almost in the beta stage with the mod.

that's our R5 system, the mags were designed specifically for the BR, BRX, Dasher from the ground up

Will the R5 system work on a stock Remington short action ? Can you please elaborate on what the R5 system is, what it fits, any problems?

Hi, The R5 is a tube chassis system designed to accept a Remington 700 short action (or custom clone) there are a few mods required to the underside of the action but are minor in nature and could be done with a Dremel tool, Pierce and Borden offer actions designed for the R5 with the mods already done, the system has been in use for over 10 years, it works great as long as you maintain a minimum COL of 2.35" which means bullets in the 90 grain and heavier range, also works with the Dasher and BRX, an optional magazine is available that works with the 6XC, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5x47 Lapua
