But three shot groups are the easiest.The only way to know what works best in your rifle and with your loads is to do the test yourself. This takes good bench rest equipment and technique and takes an investment in time, components and barrel life. Most folks will not do this and this is one area that the opinions of others as to what works for them is not worth much to you; they probably did not do the necessary testing either. Hint, three, three-shot groups will not get you the answer. Mother Nature is a bitch.
Not trying to be a smart a$$ but what I prefer really doesn't matter. Only what my load & barrel prefers, so I test and listen to what the target tells me. If the targets start lying, I'm gonna take up golf.![]()
I agree with this.I think more of it depends on powder used. I see more guys shooting BR4 with Varget and 450 with RE15. Now this is 1000 yard BR, but I get to see a whole bunch of 6MM'S shot. Matt
