6BR/Dasher vs 6.5x47

I am in the dreaming stage of a new rifle. I want excellent inherited accuracy, good barrel life and enough horse power to dispatch a deer at 400 yards. I want a short fairly heavy barrel with a Harrells brake. I was thinking a 6 Dasher with a 1 in 8, then I started reading about the 6.5x47. I need some friendly guidence.

I also posted on the Main Message Board, hope that is alright.

6.5x47 is no work, out of the box shooting. Factory ammo available. Good choice of high-BC and hunting bullets bullets.

6Dasher is work, extra firing to form the case. No factory ammo available. Also a very good choice of bullets, but BC tends to be lower (not much to worry about at 400y though).

The 6.5x47 does the same a Dasher can, but at lower pressures. I've shot the 6Dasher (hence my nickname here) and now the 6.5x47 and a 6x47 for 300-600y F-Class and would prefer these over the Dasher just because of the work involved in making cases.

I question why you want a brake on the cals that you talk about. They are low recoil, but a brake would make the muzzle blast a pain for those around you. Brakes are not allowed in some competition. You would need hearing protection to hunt. I do hunt with electronic muff's and they are ok during the cold days but not during hot weather for long periods of time. Just food for thought.
