6BR comp Question???

Were or at what range is the 6BR the best at? What weight of bullet, and what twist of barrel for the Best range 6BR comp? If there is a best range to compete with a 6BR that is. I know you can use different bullets with different twist barrels but surely there is a range were the 6br really out shines the comp. This is what i want to know about. Thanks Lee

Lee, that's a tough question, as the 6PPC and other BR wildcats are vary close to being the same cartridge, and may shoot almost as good or better. I think it would depend more on the reload, and the shooter as to witch caliber would win.
The 6BR is excellent with the heaver BT bullets, like over 95g using a fast twist like a 1 in 8' and out to 600+ yds, and maybe further.

And on the other hand, its accuracy is also excellent with flat base bullets, of 80g and less in a 1 in 12 to 14: twist, and out to 300+ yds.

Your not going to be out shot by anything, except another BR or wildcat of the BR case.

Its true that the 6PPC is winning most of the competition at this time, but most shooters are using the PPC, so its no wonder its winning.

The 6BR is an extremely accurate round, when every thing comes together, and you would be hard pressed to find any caliber to out shoot it, considering the ease of its reloading.
And you could do a lot worse in your choice.
