Mine fit bullet up no problem. Do you have the BR box? It says "6mm-7mm bench rest"when I tried my j&j I found that it only accepts cartridges bullet DOWN. not good for match ammo.

I cant get a br diameter case to go in a 223 boxI use the MTM 223 100 rd for lighter bullet 6BR varminting. TIGHT fit, bullet down when right side up, but travel/storage with bullet up/upside down.
Those big roomy 100 rounders are very bulky compared to the 223 boxes if your storage or travel space is limited.
The box does not know or care if it is upside down, only we do.
If all you want to do is store brass go with the 223 boxes.
