6BR & 87grn V-max velcoity

Hello guys, I am having a custom 6BR built on a Stiller Predator Action, Bartlein 28", 1-8 twist, 236 bore barrel, Manners T4A Stock, Jewel Trigger and Vias Muzzle Brake.

I am having it throated with a .100 lead to shoot 75 to 105grn bullets. My question? what kind of velocities should I expect with the 87grn V-Max, using Varget, out of the 28" 1-8 twist, 236 bore barrel. Do to the lead in the throat, I will be able to seat the bullet out a little further. This will allow for a little more powder capacity, so I am guessing I should be able to get close to 31.5grns of Varget into the case. I am guessing around 3125fps should be obtainable. This will be my first 6BR, so I am really excited about finally building one.

I am also planning on using the 105grn A-Max for shots over 400 yards, and I was wondering what velocities I should expect with this bullet. I am guessing 2900fps. Anyhow, what velocities are you all receiving with these bullets using both Varget and CCI 450 Primers. Look forward to hearing your opinions and other powder combo-nations.

26" Pac-Nor 3 groove in Ruger #1 did 28.5 varget/105/2850 mv, bumped up powder, and 95 b tips shot 3,000....just a tad over....

Thanks for the info and your accuracy is awesome, that's what I am looking for before the speed. I am not concerned too much about vel. I was just wondering what velocities could I expect with the 87grn V-Max. I have heard anywhere between 3050 to 3100fps, that's plenty fast enough and will cause major red mist from 0 to 400 yards. I think I am going to use the 105grn A-Max for most of my varminting. The 105grn A-Max will give good BC and bullet that performs like a varmint bullet. I am going to use the Lapua Scenars and VLD's too, but the 105 A-Max will be a better bullet for terminal performance on varmints.
