6BR/6.5x47 Lapua, which barrel/gunsmith do you use?

Hoping I can get some feedback on barrel and gunsmith recommendations that can ream min spec no neck turn chambers.

Looking at 6.5x47 8 twist for a Stiller predator, and possibly a 6BR 8 twist also, on a Rem M7 both for hunting rifles.

Wanting a great barrel, and someone who gets it done right, for a reasonable fee, no blueprinting of course for the Stiller and the Rem has been done.

Had one Hart long ago, and the rest Pac-Nor which have been very good. Considering Lilja 3 groove-,like my Pac-Nor's), also Broughton, maybe Hart. What barrels are getting top raves at the moment? Thanks everyone in advance for your help.

You need to add Krieger and Bartlein to your short list. Benchmark is making inroads in the centerfire market too.

I agree, but I just need one good barrel, and all equal, if I can save a few dollars great, same thing with gunsmith work.

Greg Tannel does good work for me. Take your pick from the list in the top gunsmiths section. Call one up and talk to him. One thing you shouldn't overlook is to get a gunsmith with whom you can communicate. If you don't feel comfortable, call a different one. It'll likely save both of you some heartburn.

I use Billy Dale at BDR Rifles,804=314 678) for all my gunsmithing. I like Brux barrels. The guys at Brux are helpful and want to make you the very best barrel possible. Ditto for Billy.
