600yd 200-23x shot last night

Congrats on her awesome shooting! I hope someone took a photo of the target afterwards just for reference, even if it is calibrated high.

On a related note, I run a F-class league in MN and we started using shotmarker targets last season. One night, one of our nat'l record holding Open shooters was shooting a new F-TR rifle. Every shot was recorded as an X. It started out as everyone being amazed as his shooting. after about 25 shots, he thought we were messing with him so he added 2 MOA to his elevation. Next shot was an X too. It turns out our pit staff had accidentally swapped two cables on the sending unit. I don't remember which two but I hope it happens to me sometime too!

Yeah that happens on occasion and I'm sure you've seen that usually results in a perfect line either horizontal or vertical depending on which cable is crossed (even if you shoot a tight group it'll still be on pretty much a single line, not a round group).

Shanna Lisa is my wife. So proud of her (not just because I load her ammo, lol). I shot the same target she did right before her with a .284 win and shot a 200/14 which is pretty much what I shoot, plus or minus. F-class John does a phenomenal job of maintaining our e-targets. He has literally spent 20 or more hours on the phone with the inventor of the targets getting them calibrated perfectly. My buddy shot that same target 30 mins before me and he didn’t so as well. It was legit. She’s a rockstar...and I’m going to hear it for a long long time, lol. Thank you for all the kind comments. Maybe someday I’ll convince her to compete. She’s a cool chick - you’d all really like her

Awesome shooting but this is the problem with e targets. No verification. It says it has a problem with a sensor so are each shot really where they are? Like the line ones.
But again, this is good shooting so don’t get your panties in a wad.
I’m shooting mine right now with 3 sensors. I have verified it with paper. Talked to Adam if you have straight target 3 is all needed.

Congratulations to the both of you!
Were you shooting at Douglas Ridge or Hillsboro?

Count your blessings. Can't imagine what it must be like having a wife that not only shoots, but realizes what all your equipment is for.....

In short range group shooting, we always discounted achievements that were shot outside of a Registered Match because the lack of a moving backer, if indeed one was not present. In short, you can’t count the shots.

Score is a little more forgiving, because you actually are shooting a single shot at each individual bull.

In this case, the electronic target recorded each shot, as you can plainly see, so all we need to say is.......”great target”.

This is a good "problem" to have, and I hope it continues to be a "problem" in the future!

Considering the history of the world, there are times when women fought and their marksmanship skills were legendary. Seeing as how they had as much to loose as men, I could never understand why they are often left on the sidelines around here. I have many Godsons, but only have daughters myself. The girls and their mother have often outshot the boys and I must confess quietly that those were days I will never forget.

I would like to think somebody has figured out a way to take the SM file and make a nice "wall-hanger" trophy print of the target for her to remember the day, and for when her grandchildren ask who that badass in the photo is... Congrats All Around!

While I realize I don’t run a registered match so this is all conjecture to many, I still wanted to post an amazing accomplishment by one of the shooters in my group. At last nights match ShannaLisa shot an amazing 200-23x using her Dasher. With about 35 people in attendance, you can only imagine how many people were hooting and hollering for her as she got these rounds down range. The collective gasp on shot 24 was a combination of frenetic enthusiasm and disappointment all wrapped into one.

As one of my other shooters stated “If this were a registered match with the NRA, you not only would own the Women’s record by 4 x’s, but you would have tied the Open record with 20 +3 x’s”

John, our group is the best at supporting and helping one another, we are quite fortunate. Thank you for sharing. I am married to the best gun caddy. I am lucky to have Terry as a friend and chamber my barrel for me.

Great shooting!

Speaking from experience when shooting on etargets with a record at stake always check to makesure you are shooting an F Class target, that the caliber you are shooting is correct and that the 7 second second delay is turned on. It sucks to shoot what could be a potential record only to lose it because something wasn’t right. Ask me how I know!
