You may also consider NBRSA 600. I THINK we shoot a little more at our matches than those IBS guys. We shoot 3 5 shot LG targets and 3 10 shot HG targets for reg matches and 6 of each at a Regional or National. Plus we could use more longrange clubs as there are only 4- Tucson, Ojai, Sacramento and Medford.
@dmoran Thanks for correcting me, I thought they shot 2 targets of each and had some kind of shoot off for relay winners. Wasn't aware of WI. I also think there's another in Northern Ca called Red Bluff maybe.@bpmoss1
IBS-600 regular match format is a 4-target per class aggregate, combined for an 8-target 2-Gun over-all.
The IBS-600 Nationals is an 8-target per class aggregate, combined for a 16-target 2-Gun over-all.
Believe there are 12 clubs/ranges hosting IBS-600 currently.
Also think you missed a NBRSA-600 range/club, and believe there are 5.
The ones you listed plus CSA, Columbus, WI (who shoot both NBRSA & IBS-600 events).
Mighty generous of you Travis.Thanks!
Yes, Clay, we'd be willing to work on some brother-in-law pricing for you guys for sighter plates. We have done it for several local ranges that host competitions here in TX, and we even helped @BT1 & Co in Manatee. We can't afford to give them away, but we can cut it pretty close to the nubbins. You may reach out to Steve and see what, if any, changes he would make if doing it over. They just held their big Florida Championship, so their should be plenty of opinions on their system. As for the ones we use at 500M Fly Shoots here in TX, I sometimes wish they were a little bigger. I know this guy that's missed the whole damn thing!
Thanks DonovanClay
Good turn out to get it going.
Thanks for the report and nice shooting !.!.!![]()
