Different /Cool Awards at Benchrest Matches.

We have had a few IBS matches at the Western Colorado Rifle and Silhouette Club near Grand Junction, Colorado. We are looking forward to hosting more matches, 600 yard benchrest is fun!

As we prepare for our fall and winter series of matches, we are pondering awards.
Looking for good award ideas for our local, regional, and maybe state matches.

Some of the folks have said that plaques are not "all that, and a bag of chips".

I seen that Field and Cave Outfitters has some printed gong trophy's. What else is out there?

Some folks are really spoiled to well stocked prize tables. The printed gongs travis does are real nice. If you want prizes its a lot of leg work getting donations

We have monthly matches that are fairly well attended, just pondering something more than certificates. The medal that Donavan posted is good.
Not so worried about the prize table.... I bring donuts, that’s all the prize there is besides a great time with like minded folks.

Clay I think a lot of it depends on what the shooters around you are used to getting if its trophies,plaques certificates or the metal art trophies . Everyone is different about what they like some are happy with their name at the top of the score sheet other want a new Cadillac.

The plaques are cool at first but I think after so many they may be tiring.
I like patches. The gong pictured is cool.

Something smaller than plaques that can be grouped on a wall and not take up so much space imo.

I asked the same question when 4 or 5 of us and our wives were standing around shooting the bull. A few of the ladies said plaques take up a lot of wall space and trophy’s are a rascal to keep clean.

It got us to thinking about something else, that is why I posed the question here.
