At DC we’re restricted from even the use of our hard table top mats after some yahoo bitched about it… that thing leaves me scratching my head. lol

Good point. It would be good to see equiptment rules the same in 600 and 1k. Im not against mechanical rear rest as I dont see them as changing the game or being a huge advantage so long as they still employ an actual sandbag. Give it some time, brand new rule books. I think we can get that handled. No appologies needed, thread is not derailed. We need more discussion like this

Yeah it's not a deal breaker for me.

I've not rewrote the record books with it, still win a few and don't the rest of them but it's nothing for others to feel they're at a disadvantage over on a conventional bag.

I think leveling feet and adjustable tension on the ears is a small benefit. But I wouldnt feel outgunned with my traditional setup.

I never agreed with that judgement, and Im pretty confident it no longer applies. The folks that implemented that are no longer involved with the IBS. Deep creek has been the target of petty bs from the start. If the guys would quit shooting so small that would stop.

Sorry I was traveling and now buried with stupid work. I don't know if it would have changed any minds, but now I see our own 600 is different from 1,000 which isn't ideal. I read the 600 as you would need to ditch the leveling feet...maybe feet the can't adjust would be okay i think? I will bring this up, but it would now require an agenda to change. It's not difficult, but just requires 25 signatures by current members at the time of signing, and then turned in by whatever the deadline is. I know you and I would be 2 signatures, now we have to get 23 more lol. I personally wouldn't mind everything in heavy (full monkey) being allowed in light, but I also wouldn't mind the 2 yardages be the same so?
