It was a bumpy road to get here but attest I'm in my happy place with the 6xc. I finally took the 6xc out to 1,000 yards today and I also took my 284 Winchester to compare the two.
The load for 6xc is Peterson brass, LF primers from Brunos, 112 Match Burners, 38.4 grains of H4350, and .020 jump.
The load for 284 is Nosler brass, Winchester primers, 154 Hornady SST, 51.2 grains of H4350, and .020 jump.
The 6xc is in Savage 110 LA with a Basix trigger, Oryx chassy, Black Hound 6-24x50 MOA scope, and UrbanRifleMan barrel and break.

I don't know much about the 284 because I bought it used from a local gunsmith who went crazy. Last I heard he was in Hospital in Albuquerque. The 284 has a Black Hound 6-24x50 Mil scope, barrel is unknown, stock might be a McMillan, break is unknown, and the trigger is unknown but it breaks really crisp and the better trigger of the two.

First up was the 6xc at 1,000 yards. Today was a perfect day for this because the morning was almost dead calm but the wind did pick up to about 3 to 4 mph. I setup two 1 gallon jugs of water at 1,000 and setup to shoot. That's when I forgot my Kestrel so I had to use my Strelok which got me within 2 yards under. I was able to walk-in my hits and make a hit on my 4th bullet with ease.

Next up was the 284. To be clear here I have been shooting this rifle for the past two years so I already knew the barrel needs to be replaced. I got the info from Strelok and was way off about 30 yards under. The next 4 shots I was able to walk-in the shots but here is where I knew the barrel was shot. The remainder of my last loaded bullets (about 15), I couldn't hit the jug. My hits were dancing around the jug.
After I was out of my 284 bullets, I went back to the 6xc and sent 5 bullets at a target setup next to the jugs. That lens wipe is 2 inches corner to corner and that's 4/5 shots which makes this group just above 4 inches. I have no clue where the 5th shot went.
