Check out the latest real nice report from Flatlander on his no-turn long distance 6BR Wildcat, the 6 UBL Improved. Link on homepage
Even with no-turn necks, he got great accuracy with Varget, moly 107 smks as well as Berger and Lapua 105s. Here's the cartridge:

You know the more I look at the 6 Improved wildcats, other than the 6 BRX) they all look pretty much the same. Nice photo though--makes it clear how you fire-form with the false shoulder.
I read the article and I do like the idea of not turning necks. I suspect, when you shorten the necks this much, it's a good idea keep the neck-walls reasonably thick to give adequate tension on those long bullets.
Lot of work for 140 fps or so though. I checked the MT 1000yd club results, and this mounth Kyle Brown beat all the Dashers with his standard cartridge.

This is my 1st BR, so I don't have a stock 6BR to compare velocity and accuracy with. To begin with, I wasn't real thrilled with the idea of loosing 3-4 hundred rounds of Krieger barrel life forming cases. But the last time I did some fireforming, in near calm conditions at 600, 10rds. with S107s at 2898fps shot a 4.3" group. While I might not want to shoot FF rounds in a 600yd. BR match, this sort of accuracy will be good enough to shoot prone 600yd. any/any matches, where the 10-ring is 12" in diameter. Getting good accuracy while fireforming takes the sting out of having to do it in the first place.
