Anybody care to list their load data and brag on the performance of their rifle and loads ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bill, hope all is well. I’ve been shooting a 6 here lately. Transitioned my short/mid range (300-600) BRX up to the 6 Creed....little more horse power.
I was running 105s, but quickly switched to the 115s. You should be able to find several nodes on a ladder, but here’s what I’m running. I’m using a a few different loads.

1) 42.6 4831LC, .005 off lands, 115DTACs, rebated, non-coated, 3020fps on a 30” bbl. I used this load for the first 1200 rounds

2) 40.5 4831sc, .010 jam, 115DTACS, rebated, coated, 2970fps. Just starting out with this load, hoping to take the Bbl well over 2k rounds. Attached ladder test represents both loads described here.

This is one of the most awesome cartridges I’ve shot. Hope you like it as well.
Regards
Don

Im shooting the 105 berger hybrids in mine with rl16 and both alpha and hornady brass.. 41.3 grains in the hornady brass and 40.5 in the alpha brass.. both runing around 3050 mv.. i shot a 1/2 inch 3 shot group with the hornady brass a few months ago at 430 yards.. figured it was a fluke but turned around and did it again the next day.. as always start low and work up..

Bill, Gman and I have gone thru 6-7 barrels between us with the 6 creed.
I started out running necked down 6.5 Lapua brass, then when the Alpha
came out gave that a try. Ran into some pressure problems running warm loads.
By then Lapua came out with 6 creed brass and never had a problem from there.
For me the RL16 worked out better than the H4350
If you can get the Sierra 110's to work, a great bullet otherwise the 107 is a
easy and very accurate bullet to use. Always used CCI450's and a 7.5 twist, 26 inch
Start in the 40.5 area depending on brass and work up. Their is multiple nodes from 3000-3100 fps
and 3130-3150 range. 3140 is about the top, you'll start seeing signs just before there.
This is my best 3 shot group.

You won't get the barrel life of the 6.5 Just in case you wondered. :)
It's a very accurate round. After a while (sooner than later ) you need to adjust the load
or chase the lands to keep it in tune.

Great info above. Thanks guys. Is the consensus that the small primer brass works best or the large ? I purchased my rifle used from a member here on the forum and it was built with a 1 - 10 Twist 26 " barrel. Does anybody have any opinions as to the heaviest bullet it will stabilize ?

Heres a 5 shot group starting with a clean cold bore i shot with mine a couple weeks ago bill with alpha large primer brass.. no experience with sp.. 100 yards.. cci 200 primers .. im not sure you could shoot the 100+ grain bullets in a 10 twist.. but you may be able too.. never tried a 10 twist in the 6 creedmoor..my 6 creedmoor is a savage stealth evolution with a shilen select m20200623_194357.jpg 20200623_193902.jpg atch 26 inch barrel..

When my wife had her 243 Win (ballistic twin), i was loading 105s in it over RL26.
Rifle was a Rossi R243, (yeah, i know. Break open) with a 23" heavy barrel, 1:10.

Since i was using Hornady Match bullets, i called Hornady. They told me that "no those would not stabalize in a 1:10 twist"!

Wife had no issues with tiny little groups at 500 yards. Furthest we got to shoot it before trading for a Savage 110 FP in 223 Rem.

Attached is my Stevens 200 at my first F Open match. 7mm-08AI shooting 140gr Berger VLD-H.

He might have setup that rifle for little critters.
As long as you are not shooting in a BR match at 600+ yds. should be fine
with 90g bullets and lighter.

I have run both a .236 bore and .237 bore 4 groove with a couple of different 6mm
both have shot small.

What do you want to use it for?
What rifle is it?
Once this barrel is gone, can you spin on a faster twist one?

Just shooting here at my 100 yd. path in the swamp mostly.
It's a Rem 700 26 in Douglas XX 1 - 10 Tw.
Yea, probably would go to a tighter twist next time around.

Bill, your question about small/large pockets...can’t speak to the large, but my test cases (100 Lapua small pocket) has 13 firings, and they still seat almost as hard as a new case. That’s pushing them a tad over 3k as well. Hard to beat that, for what it is.
Oh did forget to mention that I run Fed 205-AR Match primers. Single digit SDs ;)
