Nice, triplets. What’s the specs on your rig?If both were on the shelf which would you grab, Peterson at $110 or Lapua at $125?

i lost one of my alpha, threw in a once fired factory hornady. after i loaded it, shot it, processed the brass, the primer pocket was toast. primer just fell out when i tried to prime itfor yotes? neither, I saved my original Hornady brass for them and it groups just fine for varmints. I don't care if I lose the Hornady. Losing good brass is not an option in my book.

exactly, I had some new 6GT hornady that primers seated so lightly I wondered if they would fall out before firing. They didn't and actually no real difference in groups but yeah after that I went to Alpha and never looked back. Like I said, losing the hornady brass is no issue at all, great for varmint use.i lost one of my alpha, threw in a once fired factory hornady. after i loaded it, shot it, processed the brass, the primer pocket was toast. primer just fell out when i tried to prime it
Last batch of Peterson 6GT brass I got came in a case that wouldn't hold a loaded round, only allowing a max OAL of 2.5" when closed. Not a deal breaker, but it shows a company that isn't thinking about it's product as much as the bottom line. Makes me wonder what other short cuts they are going to be making next.
