6 Grendel

22ARC is same case as 6.5 Grendel. The shoulder isn’t pushed back (shortened) like the 6ARC.

Question:
Is there any meaningful difference is necking up 22ARC or necking down 6.5 Grendel?

I prefer to neck down for the simple reason that I can size the case with a “false shoulder” to fit my chamber and fireform tight without any unnecessary stretching. If you neck up, you can’t set a tight fit and the shoulder is wherever it ended up when the case was made.

Redding carbide Size Button Kit-24/6MM part number 48242
Redding type S 6.5 Grendel bushing die part number 77478
Hornady 243 seating die part number 044103
L E Wilson bushing B-269 (or whatever bushing you see fit)

I ordered a 6.5 seating die and have concerns if 6.5 seating stem would be a problem with 6mm bullet. Easy enough to fix but I wouldn’t think so.

You're likely to have issues with that. Without anything custom or hard to find...a 6ppc seater will work fine. Just back it off about .070ish.
