6 Dasher SBR suppressed

Has anyone built a 6 Dasher SBR?
I'm toying with the idea of a handy suppressed truck gun. Mostly using it for coyote and deer 300yds and in.
I would probably run lighter bullets 65-75gr to take advantage of velocity lost with the short barrel.
I do have doner rifle with AICS mag all set up.
Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks

I have been dreaming up the ultimate coyote carry/hiking gun using the 6 Dasher Norma also. I was thinking 22” barrel (No shorter than 20”) and a 7 3/4” or a 8” twist for 95-108 gr polymer tipped bullets suppressed. Curious if the 2950 lower accuracy node will be achievable. Also concerned about what it will take to reliably extract or feed from a Rem 700 SA. Please post any velocities that are achievable with these approximate barrel lengths.

As far as extracting I'm under the impression a sako style extractor is needed. As far as feeding is concerned, I'm going to run an AICS with 6br kit in it. I'm using a coned breech face also.

Just seated some bullets in the 6 mm Norma Dasher brass and feeding from my factory Remington BDL box magazine was flawless. Extraction is still unknown because the current barrel is still a 22-250 but probably will need a M 16 extractor.

6BR is great suppressed will full loads. Its quiter than you think. Dasher would prolly be the same. Short barrel works fine. It aint no different than an xp-100 shooting a cartridge in a 14 inch barrel.

If the dasher feeds... then do it...

I have a 22" 6 Dasher running a suppressor for coyote hunting. Running the Berger 95 VLD at 2950 fps. This is a very mild load in my rifle but very accurate. Have not tried the 105 VLD yet. :D:D

Would be interesting to see how this pans out compared to the blackout sbr’s.
I bet you could go shorter with the right powder and bbl twist. Would be neat to end the bbl at the stock and pin.

Zombie Killer,
Cant seem to find your post anymore.
In response to your inquiry, I am not going to run subsonics.
Simply want a compact rifle that is accurate and pleasant to shoot.
I also have an excess of 6br brass so this seems like a good use for it.

The reason you cant find my response is because I deleted it due to the fact I don't know how to read.
I confused the words of "SUPPRESSED" to mean "SUBSONIC"... and they are not the same.

My response was for a "SUBSONIC" 6 dasher when CLEARLY you said suppressed.

I can /will respond to "I also have an excess of 6br brass so this seems like a good use for it"..... Bad idea.....
Never build a rifle based on the fact that you have "plenty of brass".
Go with the rifle that fits the need.... If it happens to be the in the caliber that you have brass for.. great.
I personally think that if you are looking for a short compact rifle that will handle coyotes and deer to 300 yards, a 6br or Dasher would be great caliber for just that. I would think 10 twist and 80-95 pills would to the trick just fine.

Good luck with your build. and sorry I didn't read the post the way it was intended.
