6 Dasher at 600yds

Took the new 6 Dasher to CMP Talladega today. 1st time on e targets.
Got my dope pretty quickly with 2 shots.
Winds were at 90* at 10mph. It caught me twice as you can see. But I'm very pleased with this rifle.

I think so. I have to find some more places to shoot 600yds. CMP is 1.5 hrs drive.

It is VERY difficult to beat a "properly tuned" 6 Dasher at 600 yards! Yours looks like it is well tuned!! Great job! On top of superb accuracy, it is a REAL pleasure to shoot! I shoot F-Open and have 2- 300 WSMs and a 7mm Sherman Short. At Oak Ridge we PRIMARILY shoot 1000 yds. But once or twice a year, we shoot 600. I look forward to those 600 yard matches as I don't feel like I spent 3 rounds with Mike Tyson beating me up! GREAT cartridge the 6 Dasher!

But at my 130lbs, the 308 wasn't fun to shoot. So I chose the 6mm to enter Open Class with.

My home club, Central Alabama Gun Club, bought enough more property to go 1000yds. It will be another year before it's done.

Where can someone find out when Oak Ridge has their 1000 yd f class matches?

The Oak Ridge long range regional is the second weekend in June. Sling and F class. Always a good match.
