Can you provide any information on how you had to modify your normal load to work with this brass, it any?

It is a new barrel, so complete load work-up.Can you provide any information on how you had to modify your normal load to work with this brass, it any?
Yes, As near as I can tell.Is it correct to say the Alpha 6 Dasher brass is the same overall dimensions as the Lapua fireformed brass (unlike the longer Norma brass)? I am planning a 6 Dasher build and need chamber it correctly.

I shoot them in my Lapua chamber, so far I’ve had very good results.

I realize that most shooters fireform. I just would prefer to buy new and spend more time learning to shoot better and get a good load worked up.
I wouldn't expect the same results from new cases to there 2nd firing, without having to tweak the load some.
Differences in case capacity and case hardness from new to ounce-fired being the primary reasons why.
The groups above in post 142 were shot with virgin brass.I realize that most shooters fireform. I just would prefer to buy new and spend more time learning to shoot better and get a good load worked up.
kind of excited to build a new rifle and shoot this caliber.
thanks
Tom,Assuming you didn't throw away the tooling to make the smaller diameter flash holes. I still have one of the best dasher barrels I've ever seen laying here, and enough powder primers and bullets it was on. I would pay the going rate for some of each, and test this out at distance if you'd like. If there's something to be gained I'm cool with putting in some effort on my end.
Tom
Tom,
did they take you up on your offer?

Just weight sorted a new batch of Alpha Dasher brass
Yellow are the 5 lightest cases
Red are the 5 heaviest cases
Shot at 600 yards

It is to close to call.I'll take your light ones since clearly the rifle likes the heavy ones better.
On a serious note. Do you find you're backing off powder as compared to lapua cases?

My testing indicates I have to adjust H4895 and RL-15 for each match. I have one rifle shooting Alpha and one Lapua, both cases are so close in charge, I cannot say it is case volume. If there is a difference, it is mighty small and within the spread I would expect to adjust on a normal basis.
FYI this is a new, as in brand new HV Krieger I am breaking in. Trying to sweet-talk the green rifle into making weight to shoot her in LG. My oldest daughter commandeered my LG and kicked my but with it!

the dasher brass is .080, I do not know abut the GT brassDo you happen to know if both Alpha brass in 6 Dasher and 6 GT have .080" flash holes or 0.59"?. I looked on their website and I couldn't find any info, other than small primer.
